Just bought a new iPhone 8 Plus and decided to dive into the world of wireless chargers. I did a lot of research and decided to buy 2 leading fast charge brands to do my own comparison. Anker Powerwave stand 10W max with Anker Quick Charge 3.0 wall adapter vs Yootech wireless charging pad 10W max with Yootech Quick Charge 3.0 wall adapter. I really wanted Anker to top it because it's the more visually appealing of the two. However, the results (which are listed below) are very clear. Yootech is by far the better of the two based on my fast charge tests. Yootech's 20-minute quick charge resulted in an average 14% increase in phone charge (without the case on the phone). Using a silicone case, the same 20-minute test resulted in an average 12% increase in battery life. The test resulted in an average 5% increase in battery charge. All tests were conducted with starter batteries charged between 50 and 65% in flight mode. Anker failed so miserably that it's hard to believe it can be marketed as fast charging technology. I returned Anker and bought a second Yootech.
