Definitely not a gun belt. As a sling it's fine, holds my pants like it's supposed to, but it doesn't have any of the essential qualities that rifle slings have. It's ok for a $30 belt, but if you're looking for a counter-clockwise strap like it's advertised, look elsewhere, it lacks stiffness. The color was also hard to come by online, the "camel" is a bit of an orange-brown.
