Some installation hurts, but it's worth it

We use it in our 20" x 24". Conference room and overall it's a great phone for the price. The sound quality is excellent and even without additional microphones we can seat 8-10 people around our conference table and everyone can be heard clearly. We use this with RingCentral as our provider and that was the only issue. Normally for a customer-provided phone, RingCentral only gives you the username and password for the device, but since they have their own version of that particular phone, they try to provision it more automatically - and that was a big mistake. Apparently they are downloading custom firmware on the phone because the application they are using is not compatible with the software installed on the phone. It required wiping the phone, setting up my own provisioning server, and downloading the latest Polycom firmware onto the phone to get it working again - and indeed, the second time around, I refused to let RingCentral initialize the phone. Just entering a user/password from them worked fine. In that sense the phone works really great and is rock solid. We used to have a similar Cisco product. It works well too, but Cisco costs more than three times as much. Definitely a good choice for a conference phone.

Pros

Cons
  • I vaguely remember
