Very well packaged. Well traveled! First impressions: I'm happy to see that none of the parts were chipped or chipped on arrival. It's also nice to see how well everything was done. The parts are a bit heavier than I'm used to, but when you sacrifice weight you get strength. The floral design is beautifully and expertly applied to each piece and the gold inlays show no signs of chipping. To be honest I'm very impressed with this tea set considering how much I paid for it.
