This garment bag was a lifesaver! We had a destination wedding - a trip from the East Coast to Hawaii. I was concerned about packing my wedding dress in checked baggage (it might get lost) and didn't want to stuff it in my carry-on. It was the perfect solution! My baggy ball gown fit perfectly in the bag - we could even fit my husband's suit in there. I can imagine that with a dress that's less baggy, the clothes will shift a bit due to the way the bag folds, but that wasn't a problem for us. We had no trouble getting the bag through airport security and our airline was able to hang a garment bag for us, although that would probably fit in the hold as well. It was a bit of a hassle lugging the bag through the airport as there is no shoulder strap, but we were able to tape a loop to attach hangers to the handle of our trolley. The outer material feels very durable - definitely put my mind at ease!
