I got this because my old magnifying light would not stay where I put it. It kept falling down to the table. I use it for making jewelry. This one is way smaller, the arm is, so I like that, not a big mechanical contraption my old one was. The arm is infinitely flexible, bendable, so I can put it exactly where I want. And all the different light features! I really don't know if I'll ever use them all, but it's nice to have. I have found I am using this for different things, like doing my nails! The old one was so big and clunky, this one is so easy to move to where I want it. To the jewelry table, to the chair side table where I do my nails. Even put it on the coffee table so it would hang over so I could see my toenails better! This will also be great for cross stitch. Love it, easy to move, use, find all kinds of things I need to magnify handsfree! Even reading fine print!
