It has a heavy base so I was happy at first but then my neck and joints couldn't handle the size of the iPad Pro (10.5 inch Retina Display) can not stand ) for more than a few minutes. It seems to hold up for a minute or so, but then it begins to give way to the iPad's weight and tilt until the iPad touches the base. It should work perfectly for lighter items like iPhones and Kindles.
