I wasn't expecting the most amazing quality based on the price but I wasn't expecting it to break the first time the ball hit the basket. I bought this in January to give my son for his birthday. I didn't know how small the tire was so I wanted to return it but forgot until the return period was over. So for Easter we decided to make the best of it and give them a basket and a pair of Wilson brand mini basketballs. The included basketball bounces high but is very very poor quality and not durable at all. There were no instructions for assembly, luckily I have a husband so it was ok but not everyone can install toys without instructions. My husband carefully threw a mini basketball over the hoop to "check" it and the entire baseboard immediately ripped off the metal post. Thank goodness we tested it before the kids saw it in the morning. The baseboard hit my husband pretty hard when it fell off and I think he definitely could have hurt one of the kids. Because the back window was up and Easter was literally just around the corner, but my husband screwed metal ties to the baseboard to reattach it to the jamb. The baseboard was connected by two of the smallest connection points I have ever seen. so it works now, but only after many adjustments and the risk of injury. I don't expect it to last long either, I'll be surprised if it survives the summer. And when I bought it, the description of the dimensions of the actual basket was also misleading. I would recommend that you look elsewhere even if it means spending more.
