iPearl mCover is what it says it is. I don't feel like it offers any real protection other than scratch resistance, but that's the only reason I bought it. These are two pieces of plastic that will probably do nothing if dropped. The case actually only covers the top and bottom, it's thin and flexible. It fits the Flex 6 snugly, although mine doesn't seem to want to fit on top of the display leaving a small gap, but it's attached securely enough not to fall off. Easy to remove and easy to put on. This was mentioned by another buyer so there must be a slight miscalculation, or the Flex 6 may have changed a bit in different iterations, although that's doubtful. not surprising. It just looks cheap to me and fingerprints will be commonplace. I should have bought black. While this isn't really a downside to the overall function of the case. It's also thin enough to fold the Flex into tablet mode. It's also not strictly important as the protection is nil at this point, but it does allow you to use the full functionality without having to remove the case every time. Cutouts for air vents and speakers fit together perfectly. I don't like the looks but for the price it's a must have to keep your computer in your bag from scratches or damage and so far it's done. I would suggest getting a case or tote with built in protection that is specifically designed for a 14 inch laptop.
