Feels good in the hand but the magnetic connection is much weaker
So the silicone grip works well and feels good when you hold and use the pen. But. This greatly reduces the magnetic holding power of your iPad Pro (12.9 inch). What is usually a very strong and reliable connection is no longer the case. I never drop or lose my pencil when holding it and walking around, but now it happens all the time. It's annoying enough that I take off the pencil and carry it separately. The case is good enough and worth keeping, but buyer beware. I used to have a pencil loop holder at the top of the back of my iPad portfolio as well, but the pen doesn't go through it anymore.
