I was thoroughly in disbelief of using the potato masher when to my disgusted surprise upon mashing potatoes and the masher bent with very little force. I needed to replace my old one and was upset at how cheap the metal is, it looks good but doesn't stand up to long term sturdy use of mashing. I haven't used any of the peelers that came with it but I can't imaging that is going to be any better.
