This product was relatively easy to install on my '09 Road King FLHR. I'm taller and this combined with the high boy seat gives me the opportunity to stretch much better. This product really gives you more options than the stock Harley solution which I couldn't use as it pushed me back to the tank even when using the farthest mounting holes. The fact that the headrest is easily interchangeable to offer a tighter fit or more clearance. I like the notches so you can only tighten it to the point where it will hold and still be able to pull it out. I used existing Harley bolts and nuts from the factory backrest across the board and found that they all fit together with little effort. The only downside in my situation is that the underside of my high boy seat isn't aligned properly so it's a bit difficult to get the rear seat screw in. I'm glad I got it and I'm sorry I didn't get it sooner.
