Stay dry with Nikwax
Nikwax was very easy to use on my 28 year old Eureka 2 man Timberline camping tent. I set up the tent and just sprayed it on the tent then wiped it off with a small damp cloth which I also sprayed. I can try it on my North Face waterproof jacket to make it water repellent.
