This is my first time owning one of these units so can't compare to others but it looks really well built and works great. We use a lot of whipped cream in our house. It's usually canned, but sometimes we take out the blender and make our own. At the moment this is the best method. When I first used it, I shook it too hard and it came out a bit stiff. It only needs a few shakes and once we figured it out everything was perfect. All the parts fit together very well and the N2O doesn't seem to leak. However, we always use it for a few days, so I don't have long-term results. It comes with a little metal ring with little recipe cards and all of the ones we tried were delicious. so far. Using N2O charges can stack, so make sure you're trying to get a good deal out of it. In my opinion it's worth the extra cost as the end product is very good.
