I bought it to connect the Huawei E8372 LTE modem and distribute WiFi. The main task was to get as much from the modem as it arrives via LTE and distribute with minimal WiFi losses, since the first scheme with the TP-Link router was buggy, the Internet constantly fell off when the WiFi connection was working, etc. I accidentally stumbled upon rave reviews of MikrotiTik equipment and decided to try it. Knowledge on setting up network equipment was and is minimal, intuitively and after reading various articles, I set up this router (or access point, as follows from the product description). As a result, 5GHz distributes the Internet without loss, almost 100Mbit from a ing flash drive with a SIM card, which is good news. At 2GHz, the speed is slightly lower, probably due to the characteristics of the range. The modem is connected via a 1.5 meter USB extension cable, most likely this does not affect the work in any way. The fuss with creating and setting up high-quality Internet was so exciting that I ordered an additional cAP ac lite access point in order to create additional ground floor coverage in the house using seamless roaming. In general, I definitely recommend buying it, and do not be afraid of difficulties with setting up if you have ever set up your home router via the web interface.
