Review on 💡 ALITOVE White LED Strip Lights Daylight 6000K - Ultra-bright 32.8ft 1200LEDs Rope Light for Kitchen, Bedroom, Under-cabinet Lighting by Tricia Grundmeier

This is a great product with two main problems. 1) Factory installed coax connector and cable, although they look like heavy gauge cable they are actually only 30 gauge. with lots of insulation. I find it funny that they warn you not to run the light in the coil as it will overheat which is understandable, the LEDs generate heat and cannot dissipate it while winding. What they don't mention is that factory installed cables can get hot enough to burn you. You should cut this wiring immediately if you intend to use a full-length strip-through-1 connector. 2) The instructions are incomplete. Yes, it says you can cut the LEDs every 5cm, but the exposed copper is every 2.5cm. So if you are not careful you can easily lose 6 LEDs of the desired length. You must cut along the black line whether there are copper pads or not. 3) I assumed they had an adhesive backing, but they don't. Final note: Another user said he had trouble soldering the copper pads. I didn't have such problems. I have used snap connectors but wanted a more secure fit so I soldered them in place, very happy with the results, much easier than holding wire, solder, iron and light weight tape at the same time. Will buy again later for the next project - and spend less LEDs next time! (Lesson learned)
