Let me start by saying that I am an amateur photographer. I am by no means a photography enthusiast, nor am I an experienced camera user. I'm the mom who takes millions of photos of my family, my pets, and our vacations. I bought this camera for our Christmas trip and I can't say enough great things about it. There are countless settings, many of which I still have to learn. I took countless photos and experimented with different settings before the trip to make sure I got clear shots. I'm still learning how to use some settings. I play with the camera all the time to learn. Last night I learned how to take black and white photos, which turned out amazing. And I'm still working on Apitura (sp?) etc. All my photos turned out amazing on our trip except some at dusk and that was just because I didn't know what setting to use. Some I understood correctly, others were obscure. But the quality of my photos is amazing. The battery life is amazing. I charged it before our week long trip and took several hundred shots this week and never had to charge it. I am very happy with my purchase and can't wait to learn more about how to use it.
