This nutcracker is very cute, shiny and festive. It would be great as a centerpiece with herbs and holly with berries. You can just do it with him. Very satisfied. Lol update on this review my daughter just got away with it. I think it was a hit! To update. I liked it so much that I bought it again as a gift for my mother. However, it arrived with a biscuit hat glued on completely askew and it looked awful. This is the third nutcracker I've bought and had to return and the fifth that was defective. I was able to fix two more. I am very concerned about quality control issues, especially as expensive as they can be. Can no longer buy Kurt Adler products.
