While it's not easy to "clone" a new key/fob for my F150, this product worked like a charm. Well if you are unfamiliar with using a computer then save yourself the headache and pay your local dealer to program a new security key. The cost in my area is over $70 without a key. So to get started you'll need a "new blank unprogrammed key" (and an alarm fob) which you can find at Revain. Once you receive your new key you will need to cut it to duplicate your working existing key. I cut mine from Walmart for a few bucks. Now the hardest part. FOLLOW the instructions (google search) to download the software you need to program and "bind" the key to your car. The whole process took 15-20 minutes to reproduce my new key (and alarm fob). Patience is a virtue and follow instructions literally. Once complete you will have a complete alarm compatible key fob set for your vehicle. For me it saved me $$, a lot of leg work and all the items I needed were sourced from the internet. By the way. You really need a laptop for this procedure, so borrow one if you don't have one!
