Review on 🔊 GRS 3FR-4 Full Range 3" Speaker Driver 4 Ohm: High-Performance Audio Powerhouse by Doug Taylor

Based on a review here I bought these to upgrade the speakers in my Arcade1up Marvel Vs Capcom cockpit. While these are definitely more powerful speakers than the stock speakers (in the sense that I can crank up the volume and the sound doesn't distort as much), the clarity I expected just isn't there. I had to crank the bass and treble on my mini amp to the max to get a decent, non-muffled sound (which tells me I need separate speakers for treble and bass). Also, the larger magnets barely touched the top of the cockpit. Due to the cost and hassle of taking the cab apart to install it I'm just keeping it. Maybe a better amp can improve the sound.
