I purchased the black cover to avoid giving my keys that frosted-over look I seem to get with clear covers. It fits the keys well, blends in decently, stays in place, and adds a little bit of grippiness to the keyboard which I personally appreciate. A few things to mention for anyone interested in this cover:-there's a cutout for access to the Touch ID button-the lettering for the keys is solid and not transparent (on the black cover and possibly the other colored covers), so the letters can't be seen with the backlight--you can still see the backlight around the keys though. Strangely enough, the capslock key cover DOES have transparency so you'll be able to tell whether capslock is on or not.
