Great harp. I am very happy that I can easily customize it. There are two set screws that can be turned by hand (I'd say needle nose pliers will help with arthritic hands). Once the set screw is loosened, a simple twist of the inner shaft and a quick pull or push in or out will quickly bring it to the required length. Turn and install the screw. That's all. The exit went well. What I particularly liked was the addition of a more ornate pommel. In fact it was an oilier bronze color which was just what I needed. I didn't need the base pieces but if you are building or remodeling your light they will surely give it a nice finishing touch. This is a great choice.
