I wanted something to wear in the pool while I was in the water training. I needed music with a good beat that would move me, but I didn't want to spend a lot of money. I didn't want to take my phone to the gym either, so I wanted something standalone. It really fits the bill. Just plugged into my computer and opened a folder with a few Chinese songs that I deleted. What many don't realize in the reviews is that you can open iTunes, go to the music queue and just drag and drop any song you want into the folder for that device. (Itunes does NOT recognize this. I'm talking about a file in explorer) I downloaded it with the songs I wanted. In the pool it's a little pressure on the ears) I wear under a cap) but it has a normal sound, easy to turn off noise, change songs, etc. It tended to slip a bit when swimming, so water got into the intruded headphones so that music could also be heard. After getting wet it always worked well the next time I swim which I do 3 times a week. I have small ears, maybe they were too big for my ears. In general I am satisfied for this price.
