Personally I've never had much interest in white soled work boots. Old hands wore them and swore by them, but I've always preferred the look and durability of black Vibram soles. After looking at a few reviews on YouTube, I decided to give it a try. And I'm so glad I did. They fit a little loose if you buy your standard size - I'm a 9.5 wide and they're a bit big for me. Nothing thicker than normal socks can be repaired. However, their construction is impressive for this price point. They're instantly comfortable and have an old-school look that suits my workflow perfectly. I treated them with Obenaufs LP and it darkened them a bit but I feel it protected my investment a lot better. The skin is thick and elastic, the seams are even and full. Heck, even the laces are high quality. I highly recommend them and know which brand to turn to when I need a new pair. If in doubt, I would say do it!
