I discovered this product a few years ago when I was looking for a cheap skin care product that could really help with my very dry and sensitive skin. I figured a lower quality retinol would be fine as my skin is younger and I didn't want to risk putting some on my face and getting a really bad reaction because it wouldn't tolerate the higher percentages. This product really works for me and I keep buying it just because it's so effective. What it does for me is that it relieves my dry skin, eliminates redness (due to rosacea) and gives me a calmer and more even skin tone. While I don't feel any tingling (as the packaging suggests when you first use it), my skin may be a bit more sun sensitive if I don't use SPF properly the next day (which you should be putting on anyway). when using any form of retinol) --- but that's the only "bad" reaction I've had to it. A small product makes a big difference; There are no fragrances! And it dries very quickly once applied to the skin, making it much easier to apply and move on to the next step in skincare. I will always buy this product and am glad I found it so many years ago. As a side note, if you have dry skin you will need to apply another moisturizer on top. The product says you can use it alone to hydrate, but that's definitely not enough if you're dealing with very dry skin.
