The drive works fine. I love LG products. I'm not sure how they've performed because the LG stuff I've gotten before is retained so I don't need any updates. I know a lot of companies are cutting corners right now, so I'm not sure how strong that drive will be. So far it works great. I'll let you know if anything outrageous happens. Now to Nero. My Nero Essentials came out in 2012! This applies to the 32-bit Windows operating system. I found out about this because when I installed Windows 10 on my system, it started freezing on my computer and I had to jump through hoops and folders to finally DELETE it. One of the included media programs chose to autoplay without asking and kept searching for media it might be related to, but it got stuck in the middle of the search and my system crashed along with it. I rebooted, but guess what, when my system rebooted, this F-ing NERO PoS program tried to automatically resume the failed media search. Finally I was able to DELETE it but it threw an error while deleting. I ended up removing this PoS from my system, but I'm still not 100% sure it hasn't gone away. He was trying to set the "ASK" toolbar to something. I assume it's a web browser but I can't see it or find it. So maybe it's still hanging. And since the uninstall failed, dead files could stand out. Also, Nero automatically installs itself wherever it wants, you can't tell it where you want the program to be. I don't like installing unnecessary programs on the Windows 10 system drive (C:). If possible, I install everything that does not belong to my PC on a separate hard drive. When I installed Nero it just started by itself without asking "Is this normal?" before installing. Once you select "Install” it will just launch without any further input options. If you have a Windows 10 system, I'm not sure about Mac systems, I don't recommend this pack. I recommend just getting the disc itself and finding another media program. I no longer trust Nero after this fiasco. Even if they had a newer program compatible with Win 10, I wouldn't understand. I don't like non-essential programs that start automatically without permission or choice to install them elsewhere on the hard drive.
