We have several medium sized Coolaroo bed frames that have held up for many years. Our dogs love them. If they are in the house, you will probably find them on a cot. The only thing that wears out are the covers. Depending on the dog's weight (mine are around 35 pounds each) the covers will last around two to three years but will start to sag fairly quickly. My dogs don't seem to mind sagging. Over time the sleeves wear out and I have to buy replacement sleeves (which I will do). Fortunately, replacement caps are inexpensive and relatively easy to install. Good product. If you have a puppy, you may find that he chews and destroys the coating by chewing on the corners. I would recommend waiting until the dog is a bit older before giving him a crib.
