Used 3 months, works well. Love the interior lighting which makes it easy to keep an eye on the food and very easy to tell if the oven is on. Before using it, they took it outside to burn off the remaining oil (mandatory) and took the opportunity to check the temperature with an oven thermometer on the grate in the middle position. After 30 minutes at a maximum temperature of 450F with the top and bottom elements on, the temperature reached 515F. Reduced it to 250F and it actually showed 250F exactly after balancing. The top 2 controls set the temperature and elements (off-top-bottom-both) and the bottom control, the timer, turns on the power. If either or both of the temperature and element controls are off, the timer will turn on the oven light but not heat. On the other hand, you can leave the temperature and elements at certain settings and simply turn the oven on and off with the timer. The timer has a maximum setting of 60 minutes and makes a ticking noise, not too loud but noticeable. One small downside, unlike my old toaster, this one doesn't have a one button setting for toasting. Makes toast, you just have to install everything yourself and it takes a lot of time. 1 year update. Continued to work fine. Still not good at making toast. And be careful when using the toast rack for something heavy, as it's very loose in some of the rack positions. 1 year / 3 months - still works but doesn't make a good toast. I finally just bought a separate 2 slice pop up toaster. Rating downgraded from 4 to 3 stars for bad toast.
