I have a couple of these and a couple of Magsafe adapters that I've used with and without this unit. I've never lost a magsafe adapter anyway, although I usually use MagCozy with power cords that travel longer. The MagSafe adapter has slipped out of the MagCozy multiple times, leading me to believe you could still lose it even if you're using one of those. However, I expect this article will greatly reduce your chances of losing the adapter. I see that the Amazon page for this device tries to clarify that the adapter itself is not included. I don't think I made that mistake when I bought my first one of these, but I still feel like it would be easy to get confused about what you're buying here, especially if you don't know what terms like MagSafe 2 converters are meant. . The presence of a sentence or two clearly indicating that your purchase can help; something like "This is a small flexible leash to help you avoid losing the power cord adapter you bought from Apple."
