I chose to pay the extra $30 for the MK.2 because it has a volume wheel that works great for controlling the volume when you're doing something but if you can't spend the extra money don't hesitate and get the MK.1 instead. The keyboard feels great, I can now type at night with ease, and it also helps with homework and gaming. My only complaint isn't with the keyboard, but with the way Revain has packaged the keyboard. Revain only shipped the keyboard in a keyboard box, so a few keys were loose. If I pay more than $120 I expect better packaging from Revain.
