I have been using red palm oil on my birds for many years. This product now comes in new packaging that is much easier to work with. I heat it up to a liquid state and add it to my seed/Harrisons mix. It helps many things, e.g. the digestive tract, liver, etc. The avian vets I have visited recommend red palm oil. I have nine healthy medium sized parrots (six rescued). Feather Glo plus a healthy diet of real food e.g. B. Carrots, cauliflower, broccoli, nuts, fruit (everything tailored to your species of bird) will give you a happy, healthy friend. Read the instructions as it doesn't take much Feather-Glo to get the job done. Do not exaggerate!
