So my cat has a 9.5" neck and 13" chest. Small is the next size up - Medium looks incredibly larger than Small, even though Large is only slightly larger than Medium. Small was the wrong choice. You can see how tight it is on my cat. Luckily I got my money back so I will buy the medium. Really love this sweater, it's comfy and has a leash hole in the back so I can take my cat outside when it gets colder. And although the sweater was tight, my cat didn't mind wearing it. I would recommend this sweater just be sure to take a size up if the measurements are close.
