I've had this helmet for about a year or so. I had a little problem with scratching my head, maybe something came loose, but nothing major. Last night I was riding pretty fast for me (18mph) and my chain broke and I kinda went over the handlebars. I slipped down the street. I landed on my head The helmet is really scratched but my head is completely protected. I'm writing this review because I'm about to buy a new one. I can't ride for weeks because my bike broke down. But it did a great job
