I have this cable everywhere in my room from my computer's USB 3 to my monitor and I connect it to my monitor as it has a dual USB 3 hub inside. I use a Samsung T5 SSD and a Wacom tablet via this connection for photo editing in Lightroom and Photoshop and I have not noticed any performance difference with the SSD when connected directly to my computer compared to using this cable (it includes images ). . I work on). And there's no lag with the Wacom tablet, either, and without the extra power. More intensive devices require additional power, like external hard drives etc., but it was a nice surprise that I didn't have to borrow an extra outlet. Very satisfied.
