Found this at Ross and decided to buy it after donating my mother's Sunbeam waffle maker from the 80's or 90's. My daughter (4 years old) thought the animals at breakfast were very cute and fun which is a bonus. The downside is the fact that it's still harder to clean. You have to use nonstick spray to prevent the dough from sticking and then find a way to clean it up afterwards. Keep in mind that this isn't your regular non-stick cookware, it's a piece of equipment you can't just run under the faucet.
