Review on JG MAKER Industrial 220X220X250 3D Printer Filament by Elvis Bragg

My 11 year old son bought this after saving for over a year. After watching the YouTube video, we successfully put it together in about 30 minutes. We skipped the included PDF tutorial and instead followed YouTube's suggestion to download the latest version of Cura. Our first impression of the cube was unsuccessful, with blemishes and inaccuracies. I contacted customer service and it was amazing! And after a bit of fiddling, we found that the nozzle was too close to the bed, reducing the print time required. Also, the PLA that came with the printer was awful and brittle and would get stuck in the feed tube. We later sorted it out, passed new PLA and it prints like a dream. We had issues with prints not adhering well to the bed, so I switched to a $12 flexible magnetic bed, which completely solved this issue. Now it's just fun and my son enjoys it! We're obviously newbies so can't really compare to other models, but the print is consistent and clean with no smudges or gaps. Highly recommended!
