I am very happy to have found this well made filter at a reasonable price for my Dyson! I was one of those idiots who never washed the original filter on my car until all of a sudden it got completely clogged and my vacuum stopped sucking! A vacuum with no suction really...well...it sucks! I needed to vacuum my vacuum again and found some helpful information online about flushing the filter, including a line telling me to wait a full 24 hours for the filter to dry completely before putting my Dyson back in and using it again. I washed the filter in the middle of winter and ended up having to wait much longer than 24 hours for it to dry completely. During that time, my house was infested with dust balls and floating cat hair, and that was the reason I bought this filter. Now I can keep my replacement filter clean and ready to go at all times! WOO HU!
