I ordered several different sets of stars and planets from Revain to recreate the solar system on my son's walls and ceiling. I kept coming across this moon and ended up ordering it. I love it! My son too lol. I hung it on the wall opposite the installed planet. I took various stars and placed them around the outer circle of the moon giving it the effect of a REAL crescent moon and the rest of it just got darker. It looks great and I can use it to tell my son about the different stages of the moon. That's MUCH more than I thought. However, it has one major flaw that can be easily fixed if you know what to do. It doesn't come with sticky putty like many other star kits, instead it comes with a small pre-cut sheet of sticky foam squares that can be attached to the wall. I'm not sure if you really should use this stuff to tape or if they just had a bunch of it and wanted someone else to throw it away for them lol. I bought Elmer's Tac 'N Stik Reusable Glue, White, 2 oz along with this one and it worked. I've noticed that it stays bright for a very long time, even when the light from a TV charges it. I recommend this for moon lovers around the world. :)
