I've used emulators on my PC and other devices. This is the first dedicated handheld device like this I've tried. It looks very light and cheap. I personally think the screen is ok. Everything looked good to me when I played something. I also found the sound quality good. The package includes a 4GB microSD card loaded with games. It would be very easy to add new games that may not be here. I haven't tried many games but I liked the Castlevania game which just didn't work in the sense that it was played alone, like a demo. Nothing I've done would allow me to play it myself. I don't know if this is a widespread problem. My biggest issues with this device are the buttons and key mapping. Half of the keys don't seem to do anything and the key layout is completely unbalanced. For example, if the game says that pressing the A button does something, you'll likely find that the B button, or maybe the Y button, is actually the button that does it, or maybe not at all. Also, the keys feel pretty cheap and crappy. When I try to exit the game, I can't figure out how to get back to the main selection screen from the game either. I really have to turn the device off and on again. If the controls worked well enough I'd be happy with that, but I find it too tedious in that regard so I'm really not interested in using them.
