If you know how to use it, it will definitely last multiple cars!

As mentioned before, you will encounter many damage before use. However, that's why you spur, spur, spur and use compressed air. Having access before you even touch the compounding area saves you tons of cleanup time. I recently sanded and primed the hood of my car for a repaint at the shop. And this wool pad paired with my Hitachi SP18VA rotary motor worked quickly.
