This is a purely personal and very subjective assessment. . The "Jubilee" strap that came with my Seiko XKX007 watch was a good watch strap and many, including myself, find it to be an extremely comfortable metal bracelet. They are light, extremely flexible and comfortable to wear. But I have other watches with a heavier metal bracelet, and I found the standard Seiko "Jubilee" bracelet to be a little light. So, again, it's just a matter of personal preference - some people like lighter bands, and some people want a band with a more "substantial" feel. I like this "Super Oyster Type II" watch strap from Strapcode better. And at around $55, it's a lot cheaper than a similar bracelet offered directly by Seiko. In fact, this is one of the cheapest straps that fits straight (with curved ends) to the SKX line of Seiko dive watches offered by this seller. The fit is absolutely perfect! The reason the strap is heavier than the standard Seiko strap that comes with my watch (and I find all SKX watches (like a choice between a metal strap and a rubber strap) is because all the links are strong , while the links of the Seiko "Jubilee" band are solid on the outside, but there are only curved metal links in the middle, which are very light. Also, the Seiko "Jubilee" band's curved lugs are solid Bracelet is made of curved steel while the curved lugs of this bracelet Each bracelet is crafted from a solid block of solid stainless steel Overall the quality of this "Super Oyster" bracelet is so much better than Seiko As has been said countless times, Seiko makes such a great watch at such reasonable prices they really need to save somewhere so as owners it seems like a fair deal to us to go with a strap that can be easily replaced Would you be more than 1 Spend 00 dollars on a meta? Lytic Bracelet or $8. - $15 for a nylon "NATO" strap or almost any amount of money for any type of leather strap - the choices are huge! And no matter what you do (or whether you keep the standard Seiko "Jubilee" rubber or metal bracelet), you still have an amazing watch for little money - quite possibly the best watch you can buy for under $200 (and probably better than most watches twice the price). There is no doubt that this Strapcode Oyster bracelet is a great piece of jewelry. The finish is just as perfect as the SKZ watch (and the match - ground on the top and polished on the sides (ends) - that's how the finish is on the SKX watch! Also the safety clasp is definitely more secure (Not only did it a deployment clasp that snaps at opposite ends like a Seiko bracelet, but also a spring-loaded button closure mechanism that prevents accidental opening if the band catches on something (which is possible with a Seiko metal bracelet). And of course, " like i said at the beginning the band is significantly heavier than a seiko metal band. i like that. but again it is a matter of personal preference. i find both bands very comfortable. i can't say one is more comfortable than the other. To me, the "Super Oyster Type II" bracelet is a noticeable improvement over the Seiko "Jubilee" but your mileage may vary. "Jubilee" is lighter and more supple (although ic h don't notice it when I'm wearing it.) The only real objective difference that's obvious to me is a better clasp (which, as some people have pointed out, doesn't carry the "Seiko" name like the "Jubilee" band. (and no parts are non-interchangeable).
