I had one as a kid that my parents got at one of those homeware dinner parties. It's one of those weird foods that I have many wonderful childhood memories of. It works the same and isn't difficult to use, but the quality is a bit poor. It works best on very smooth surfaces (like marble) and you have to push inward as you turn the crank or it will bounce around like a scratched record. The extra pressure needed is probably due to it being a cheaper product, but overall it's still pretty good. It works just like the old ones and you get a lot for the price.
