I ran two tests on a 12V lead-acid car battery. One test was conducted under no load and the other test was conducted under load. Both tests also used a digital voltmeter. With no load connected, the DVM shows a battery voltage of 12.5V and the BT-100 shows 12.2V. With a load, the DVM shows 11.4V and the BT-100 shows 10.8V. A good battery can be classified as weak or very good well identified are almost empty, leading to the premature replacement of a good battery. Update: I sent the device back. A few days later I saw a sale with 70% off. I decided to try again. This time the BT-100 almost beats my digital meter. I suspect the quality control of the BT-100 could be an issue. That's pretty typical of something good, but made in China.
