I bought this for a large jigsaw puzzle I was working on. It's amazing how well made it is. It's durable and all the wood is fairly smooth despite the wood being untreated. Also remember that the dimensions include the side pieces so the actual width of the area suitable for the puzzle is 34.5 inches. When you're done, the puzzle can slip off one of the wide ends. I like that it's easy to move with two people and everything stays intact. UPDATE after working on the puzzle for a while. I have a problem with the workspace. A puzzle piece is too short. What I did was work two rows on the vertical side and then put in sticky puzzle paper cut into a strip of the right size to hold the two rows together. Then I could flip those two rows and now it's fun to move on to finish this giant puzzle that's keeping me busy during COVID. Now I will order my daughter. She envied the job. :-)
