Use the included 3.5mm jack.

I left my old 3.5mm jack in the sound card connector. Nothing worked. Splinter was there. There should be different gaps in the nest. Must use this one. Now it works great! ***Updated May 16, 2021 There must be a weak connection somewhere in this device. sound card, and then restart your computer. Then reconnect the device. The computer reinstalls the device ("drivers"). Awkward, but works.
