Very complete; no spindle at all. There are so many branches in this little winner that I don't know if they will ever fit on this tree. And the branches are neither thin nor weak; they are very fat. Just straighten the branches and you're ready to decorate. Great tree if you are looking for a small space. The star for our tree has a small hole at the bottom of the base so it can be stuck on top of the tree. (Rubber?) Ornaments are shiny and serve their purpose, making this tree fun. The chain of tiny LEDs is very long and produces a lot of sparks. The lights can be made to blink in many different ways: constantly on, alternately on and off, slowly on and off, or blinking causing a crazy migraine faster than you can imagine! In general, if you need a small tree, go for this one. Excellent value for money and quality.
