This yarn is so soft I love it. Although I haven't crocheted in a long time, this yarn is perfect for crocheting. When it arrived it was exactly the beige color I was looking for and more than enough for a small scarf I was crocheting. Although I'm not done with it yet, I found this yarn really easy to work with, and although I've used merino wool in the past, I found it to be the softest wool yarn I've ever used. Not to mention that I usually feel a bit of an itch when using wool and usually have to wear gloves, but with this yarn I don't have that problem. You get a small amount but for the price it won't hurt the wallet if I really need to order more when making a longer scarf. Ever since making a children's scarf I've found that what is sent is actually more than enough for what I need it for.
