My floor pump is not the best, the cartridge is a bit difficult to connect and disconnect I lose some air when suctioning. I bought this pressure gauge because it's small and easy to check without having to carry around a floor pump. I was hoping it would be easier to detach than my floor pump, with less air loss and meets those needs. It is very easy to turn Presta valves on and off. Minimal air loss. It shows the same pressure as the pressure gauge on my floor pump. So that gives some confidence that they're both at the right level. The air release button works well. 5 Stars.
