My hair is fine and not very thick, and I have an oily scalp. After every shampoo, I apply a fair amount to my damp hair (half the length, not just the ends). After that, you let your hair air dry. After drying, the hair becomes supple, lustrous, and simple to comb; it also fits the head more snugly (without oil, it dries up randomly and curls in different directions, with oil only the tips curl slightly). Application on dry hair, even in a very tiny amount, is something that I consider to be inappropriate since it causes the hair to clump together and become dirty more quickly, but it has no other beneficial consequences. Because of this oil, I have noticed that the hair does not become brittle in between haircuts (which I get once every two to three months). When I tilt the bottle, the dispenser does not work very well if there is less than half of the oil still inside. This is one of the bottle's flaws, which also contributes to the bottle's less-than-ideal shape, which means that it occasionally escapes my grasp. Because the oil, on the whole, does an excellent job of living up to the claims that it makes, I will continue to recommend it on occasion.
