I use my small shop vacuum for a lot of things. One thing is dust removal from the seams. This talc-like dust easily clogs the filter and is difficult to clean. Filter Pal keeps most of the dust on the filter and on the bag. I take the bag off, shake things out in a plastic bag, then shake it out and put it back in. Lasts for 4-5 times and then wash in the washing machine. I bought a second one after having two weeks to have a fresh one when I work to keep vacuuming. Expensive but effective. As with the dual filter, I also noticed that less dust is blown out of the exhaust, which keeps clean areas clean.
